Compliance Documentation

Mind Kontrol hardware is built, tested, and shipped under the regulatory frameworks required for licensed retail. This page documents our certifications, testing protocols, and shipping restrictions.

Product certifications

UL-8139 listed Every MK 510 battery and pod system meets the UL safety standard for electrical systems in vaporizing devices. Certificate copies provided upon request.

FCC Part 15 All wireless and Bluetooth-enabled products meet FCC requirements for unintentional radiators.

CE marked (export models) Hardware destined for international markets carries CE marking and accompanying documentation.

Prop 65 compliant California Proposition 65 warning labels are printed on retail packaging where required. Warnings reference battery components only — MK hardware contains no cannabinoids, nicotine, or other regulated substances.

Hardware testing

Every batch of MK hardware is tested before shipment for:

Battery cycle life (minimum 300 charge cycles to spec)
Output voltage stability across temperature range
Activation latency consistency
Mechanical integrity under drop and vibration testing
Charge port and threading durability

Testing documentation is available for any batch upon request. Email wholesale@mindkontrol.co with your batch number to receive the relevant test reports.

RMA and warranty

Warranty: Lifetime device warranty against manufacturing defects. Field RMA rate as of last quarter: 0.2%.

Return process: Defective units returned with batch number and POS receipt receive replacement units shipped within 72 hours. We don't require return shipping for fewer than 10 units — just send photos and documentation.

What's covered: Battery failure, charging defects, structural failure under normal use, output inconsistency outside spec.

What's not covered: Water damage, drop damage, modification, use with non-compatible cartridges, damage from improper charging.

Compliance for retailers

Age verification: All hardware purchases require age 21+ verification at point of sale per federal Tobacco 21 regulations.

Licensing requirements: Mind Kontrol sells to licensed retailers, distributors, and manufacturers operating in the vape, smoke, head shop, dispensary, and accessory categories. Business license verification required before first order.

State restrictions: We currently serve 40+ states. Hardware is restricted from shipment to: Arkansas, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah at the time of this writing. Federal and state regulations change frequently — verify current shipping availability with your account rep before placing your first order.

Required disclosures

Mind Kontrol hardware contains no cannabinoids, nicotine, tobacco, or other consumable substances. Hardware is intended for use with state-compliant products dispensed by licensed retailers in legal markets only.
